Recent years acting in New Jersey Theater

In 1987, I was cast in my first role at

PLAYS-IN-THE-PARK, in Edison

This began 20+ years of Summer work with that estimable theater, both acting and directing.

My first role at PIP was "King Pelinore" in CAMELOT, 1987 "King Arthur" was Art Neil, "Gwenevier" was Judi Toma, "Lancelot" was Eric Keitel
Followed by "Captain Hook/Mr. Darling" in PETER PAN, in 1988. "Smee" was Oscar Stokes," Peter Pan" was Jackie Neil	"Mrs. Darling" was Lisa Cohen

Jumping back in time: in 1976 at Celebration Playhouse,
I was able to play "Frederik" in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC
with Carol Vuocolo as "Desiree"

So I was delighted to be able to play him again at PIP, in 1989
with Lisa Cohen as "Desiree"

As fun as it was playing Fredrik again, the satisfaction came from the overall
magnificence of this A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC production,
masterfully directed by Gary Cohen, who also directed the CP production.

Two non-musical villains at Plays-in-the-Park

	In 1992, "Dracula" in DRACULA
	In 1997, "Jonathan" in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE

In ME AND MY GIRL, I got to DANCE a big solo number, "The Family Solicitor". Such fun!

I began at The Bickford Theater, in 2003 (with a preview at Theater West, in Florida - 2002) playing "John Barrymore" in BARRYMORE then revived the play at Edison Valley Playhouse, in 2005 Click here for more BARRYMORE photos
